Since last Memorial Day.............
Army Maj. Brian M. Mescall, 33, an Exeter High School graduate, died after a roadside bomb exploded near his vehicle in Afghanistan in January 2009.
Marine Cpl. Michael W. Ouellette, 28, of Manchester, died while supporting combat operations in Afghanistan in March 2009.
Army Spc. Adam M. Kuligowski, 21, of Derry, died after being injured in a non-combat incident in Afghanistan in April 2009.
Army Staff Sgt. Edmond L. Lo, 23, of Salem, was killed when a roadside bomb he was trying to neutralize detonated in June 2009.
Marine Sgt. Michael C. Roy, 25, who was born in Candia and has family here, died while supporting combat operations in Afghanistan in July 2009.
U.S. Army infantryman Justin Pellerin, 21, of Concord, died when the vehicle he was in was the target of an explosive device in Afghanistan in August 2009.
Marine Capt. Kyle R. Van De Giesen, 29, a helicopter pilot from North Attleboro, Mass., was killed in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan in October 2009.
Marine Staff Sgt. Stephen L. Murphy, 36, of Troy, died "while supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom," according to the Department of Defense in November 2009.
Army Spc. Marc P. Decoteau, 19, of Waterville Valley, died of injuries sustained during an incident in Wardak province in Afghanistan in January 2010.
Marine Pfc. Eric D. Currier, 21, of Londonderry, died while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan in February 2010.
Jonathan D. Porto, 26, who attended Timberlane Regional High School in Plaistow, was killed in a vehicle crash in Afghanistan on March 14 2010.
